Fire and disability access design

Our main focus is developing fire safety strategies and providing our clients with expert advice in relation to the application of the current fire safety regulations. Our Fire Safety Engineers have valuable experience working on projects across all sectors and varying in size. This experience assists our clients with a high level of technical advice which can be customized for projects of any scale across Ireland Accessibility to a building involves more than physical access to a building. In particular a high level of consideration should be provided to ensure the building can be accessed by all people. A building requires universal design to ensure all locations in a building is all inclusive to any person who enters a building. A Disability Access Strategy review should be completed for all clients to review if any access issues exist. OMC Fire Safety Engineers are experienced in completing any such reviews with regards to accessibility to help identify if the current design will comply with the building control regulations.
